Membership
At Salem Covenant Church we view membership as a starting line, not a finish line. Membership is for ordinary people. You do not have to be perfect to become a member, you just need to place your trust in Jesus Christ. On an official level you must attend a new members/inquirer’s class and fill out an application. Once your application is approved you will be received as a new member during a Sunday morning worship service. You are required to take this class if you want to be a member, but you do not have to become a member if you take this class. When you become a member you are not only surrendering to Christ, but also his church. The Bible refers to the church as one body with many members.
