Fellowship
Christ centered fellowship is a lot deeper than the coffee and cookies we share after worship once a month. Christian fellowship is really more about the relationships that we share with one another. It is related to the big difference that exists between being friendly and making friends. Friends are important to all of us, but developing spiritual friendships is particularly important within our spiritual lives. This is why Christianity cannot be lived out in isolation and why Hebrews 10:24 says that we should not neglect to meet together. I once heard someone say that a Christian outside of the church is like a coal outside of a fire. When we enter into true Christian fellowship with each other we surrender to God as we enter into these authentic spiritual relationships.
