Surrender
The second step in discipleship is surrender. Once you have discovered who Christ is and how important God and the church can be for your life, then you are called to surrender your life to him. You are called to give your life over to Jesus and to live your life in accordance with his will and his ways. As Christians we do this through worship, discipleship, membership, stewardship, and fellowship. These are the
"ships" that help us to move forward in our spiritual development after we have surrendered our lives to God.
