Study
The third step in this discipleship process is to study. There is so much to learn from the Bible and other Christians about authentic Christ centered discipleship. We can do this in small study groups or through individual reading. Reading the Bible and spending a significant amount of time in the New Testament is very important for new Christians. It also helps to read books by Christian authors about Christianity. Small groups help you to read the Bible interactively. It helps to hear how other people perceive what you are reading together. Other people can also help you to see how the Bible relates to our real lives. No one is perfect and we all have a lot to learn from each other. At Salem Covenant Church there are a variety of ways for people to study and learn together. We also encourage our members to participate in retreats at Pilgrim Pines our conference center in Swanzey, New Hampshire.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God."
