September 11, 2011 - 'A Persistent Kingdom' - Mark 4:26-32 - Pastor Paul Preaching
If Jesus made such bold promises of hope and a future, why is it that life seems so cruel at time? Did he live for nothing? Did he heal for nothing? Did he die for nothing? July 31, 2011 - 'Free Food!' - Matthew 14:13-21 - Pastor Paul Preaching
What do you crave? what do you long to hear from God? How do we see and sense and know God’s working in our lives and in our world? God is there in the longing for deep and true community and connection. God is there in our efforts to know and understand deeply the mysteries of God and the world God made. God is there prompting and pushing us to what is right, what is good, what is pure.

So much of the way we relate to others - including within a church - is “us and them." The challenge for today is to move to a place of "we." To look around us, to think about who we see and do not see and ask, how can I make space for this person? How can we grow together, learn together, become more Christ-like together? What are ways that I am expecting this person to become like me instead of me making space for someone like them?
June 19, 2011 - 'Dogma, Doctrine, and Discipleship' - Genesis 1:1-2:4a - Pastor Paul Preaching
At the very heart of the doctrine of the Trinity is an image for us of what it means to be in relationship with God and in relationship with each other. It is to share and be empowered and to live in peace, and it is to be so filled with love and life that you cannot help but share it with each other!
