Staff
Robert Dvorak, Interim Pastor
 Robert Dvorak was formerly superintendent of the East Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church, 1998-2006, with duties of general oversight and assistance to seventy congregations across eleven states of the greater northeast. He also had watch care relationships with Pilgrim Pines Conference Center & Camp Squanto in Lake Swanzey, NH, and New England Seafarers Mission at harbors of Boston, MA, and Providence, RI, as part of the work of the East Coast Conference. Since 2006 he has served interim pastorates in Omaha, NE, and Bradenton, FL.
Previous ministry experience includes ten years as senior pastor of Winnetka Covenant Church (north of Chicago, IL) and fifteen years on the faculty and administration of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, MA, and during that same period, associate pastor of Community Covenant Church, West Peabody, MA.
Robert and his wife Dorothy are the parents of three grown children—Rob, Dawn, and Tracey—and the grandparents of eight, including twins recently born in Raleigh, NC. Dottie, now retired, was formerly nurse for independent living units at Covenant Villages in Cromwell, CT, and Northbrook, IL, before that.
Aaron Ruiz, Director of Youth Ministries
Aaron has been the Director of Youth Ministries since September, 2006. He is a graduate of Bethel College, in Minneapolis, MN. His interest in Youth Ministry developed as a student leader at Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel, CT. He has had extensive youth ministry and worship leading experience through internships at Walnut Hill and other churches. He is married to Carla. They were just married in October of 2007.
Susan Anthony-Klien, Music Director
Susan has been the music director at Salem Covenant Church since 1991. She has helped the choir to grow to 25 members. The choir has produced two C.D.s One is called "Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord" the other is called "Christmas on Baldwin Hill." Susan is an accomplished musician and a great leader. She has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Connecticut and did post graduate studies at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. She is married to Kevin and they have two boys.
Robin Williams, Office Manager
Robin is responsible for assisting our ministry staff in the office and for coordinating the efforts of many of our volunteers. She has been with the church since 1984. She has served us faithfully for many years and she keeps much of what we do organized. She has four grown children and five grandchildren.
