Children's Ministry
Our children's ministry is a vibrant and important part of our ministries as a church. We take seriously our responsibility to teach and train children in the faith in the hope that they will grow into faithful followers of Christ.

We have several opportunities for children in our church.
Sunday school - Sunday school meets every week during the school year during the 10:30 am worship service. Children are dismissed following the Children's message for a time of fun, lessons, and activities taught by faithful and dedicated teachers. - Child Care - For the youngest children in our church, we have a safe and comfortable place for them to be loved and cared for if their parents do not wish to keep them with them during the worship service. Each Sunday, there is a responsible adult and a responsible teen helper staffing our nursery.
Vacation Bible School - Every summer, our church hosts a week long VBS for children of the church and the community. This is a great time with lessons, games, and activities for children of a multitude of ages. VBS is staffed by many responsible adults and teens who care about the children and desire to help them grow in their faith. - Christmas Paegant - Each December brings the much- anticipated Christmas pageant to our church. The children spend several weeks during Sunday school rehearsing for their big perfomance on a Sunday morning during church! The pageant is written and directed each year by Teresa Ruetzel, a member of our congregation. It is a great celebration of the season, and a wonderful way for the children to learn more about what it means that God comes into our midst as a little child.
- Children's Day - Each spring, we have a special celebration where we specifically honor the children at the end of the Sunday school year.
Camping - Many of the children from our church go to summer camp at Camp Squanto at Pilgrim Pines. Our church has campership lunches throughout the winter and spring to help raise money to send our kids to camp!
